The European Union has imposed import quotas on shoes from China. Make sure that you fully understand the situation, so you don't end up like many other importers, with products waiting in containers around Europe.
I have no clue about Brazilian shoes, but the Chinese ones are generally good quality. However, you need to find a legit and honest supplier. There are meny good ones in Zhejiang Province, especially in Wenzhou. I would stay clear of the 'name brand' manufacturers, as many of them don't have a licence to produce and sell name brand products.
I would like to establish a distribution business of woman's shoes, but the truth I do not know how to begin.
Also I would like someone to comment what shoes are better: the Chineses or the brazilian ones.?
Do you have any idea to create a factory to support you in China? The initial investment will be USD20000 for a small factory and veryday you can get 300 shoes (150-200 sport shoes).
Replying to [Moca69]: I m not sure if you are still importing shoes. In all humility, I believe Brazilian ladies shoes are much more in tune with fashion & very good workmanship. Besides, our min. qty is much much less than chinese factories require.
If you are still importing shoes, you can check our website, solemate from Brazil. I believe you can find us through yahoo or google search.
