Hi every one. We are manufacture CaCO3 filler Masterbatch, you can call Filler, masterbatch, CaCo3 compound ... Every day. there are many customers sent me inquire for our product but when we feedback to them for price, data sheet, delivery term ... but most of them not come back with me again.[em8]
I believe that my price very competition with the other product but i have no experience in business. So what should I do when I have inquire? and what i should do to approach to customer?

friend,you don't prompt quotation when the customer ask,you can ask he the detail information about your product!

we have the same trouble in this time, Many, many rate inquiry,but when we replied with my price...nothing to reply to us...from now

according to the experience,we don't quotation at once,we should learn more information about the product from the customer!

CaCo3 compound? What kind of filler is it?

It is normal that many inquiries do not receive reply if your customer believe it has no more reasons to stay in contact with you.

You need to offer an opportunity for customers to be willing to reply to you.

I think it is much depends on your price.

You said that your price is competitive, i do not think so.

Price is base on the market, competitor, and much depends on the internal cost in your factory.

So you will think that resonable price will be competive, but it is your thoughts, not cusomters.

And another reason is that some customers are just to get some information for records when they have retative need of these items, they will get back to you. 

So pls ananlysis the customer from its enquiry, and give brief intoduction of your company, products, advantage.

Then if they are intersted, they will ask  more informations.

Pls not give all the informations after the first enquiry. Nobody will be a fatty after a month.

how to know the price is very competition ?
do you have feedback from your clients ?
as usual , we often re-wirte to my clients for fur comment about my quotaions too , then i know the clients have choised the supplier or more expensive,or questions client Caring for so that we can neogiate with them again according to materials or discount. then it is not a good ideas to do after serval changes too . so i know what situation about my prices too then i also need to change the processing for Focusing on my valuable clients really ![em21]

[em19] I quite agree the above reply!

Buyers may need some days to compare your offer with other suppliers.They of course will not contact with you actively if your offer doesn't satisfy them. But if you send email again to ask them how do they think of the price, they may tell you what's  the problem. And then you could follow up to it and discuss with them for more details. So offering price is not the end!
