Credit card payment 2 replies,1021 views

So, I paid for my products using my mastercard. The money was shown pending from my account and then all of a sudden, i receive an email stating that my transaction has been closed due to security reasons. So the first thing i do is call my bank. They tell me that they released the money and that they are not sure why the company closed the transaction. I am currently awaiting an email reply from Aliexpress but has this ever happened to anyone else? Will my money be placed back into my account? Thank you for any/all replies.

Same situation.
Yesterday I paid by Visa at the mornig but after couple of hours transaction has been closed due to security reasons. I've wrote claim and checked Escrow FAQ and found the article: ______________________________________________________ Q: What should I do after my transaction is cancelled? A: If your transaction has been cancelled by us for security reasons, please provide the documents listed below: 1. A copy of your personal ID or passport if you used a personal credit card for the transaction; a copy of your business registration if you used a company credit card 2. A copy of both sides of the credit card used 3. A copy of the bank statement for the credit card used Please send the items listed above to: security@aliexpress.com. If your credit card details are verified, payments you make in the future on AliExpress will be fast and easy. After we have received your documents, we will respond within 3 business days. ________________________________________________________ Why this "security reasons" require customer being so unsecure? To send a lot of private informaton just by scans attached to unencrypted e-mail. It's very strange.

Re: Credit card payment
Call your CC and tell them you paid for something with no service/product rendered. 3 weeks later, done and done. The other party will be forced to pay a chargeback, when any company gets too many chargebacks, their bank will pile on the fees. So that company may take notice and do better in customer service in the future.
