Strongman Products wrote:Thanks for the tips. I gather how important speaking - or at least understanding - Chinese is. That's my first step I guess. Ultimately, I want to take part of the manufacturing sector in Shenzhen/China if possible; working for someone else if necessary to gain the knowledge to start exporting/importing to and from the local market. I see an opportunity to interface with China and outside of China, considering how important the market is and will be in regards to world trade. You want to do what, work in the phone market via factory or shop, So you must have I few good point as I am sure you already know, Funds to get you to China, with a letter from a factory in china and a visa for the team of your stay, get a permit to work in china which you need to have a medical check and blood test. Place to live, and money to keep you there, flights to chine cost around £650 now, and the cost of living in china is much more. Speaking Chinese is paramount, but after all that, when most of the phones from factories are copies, and the brands like Apple export without any distribution in china I am not sure what you can do there
