So I ordered from what I thought was a reputable company. But they sent the wrong item!

Who has to pay the returns fee? I have already had to pay the import tax on items that are not what I bought - Is it down to the supplier to arrange the return?

of course the seller should bear all fees, include your lost and the return fees.
but how does this happen?

Re: Wrong Goods Sent, Who pays returns postage?
It's rash to judge who would bear those freight and fees since we hardly know the details of your transaction.

But the most efficient way is to negotiate.Maybe the seller is willing to cover the fees, maybe they prefer to share the cost with you.Mutual business develops through a string of dificulties and solutions.[em14]

Re: Wrong Goods Sent, Who pays returns postage?
it is hard to talk about who stands the wrong side.
firstly ,the supplier should make a well understanding of the buyer's opinion,,,,but they sell the wrong goods......
and the buyer paid it including the goods that you never buy .....oh ,god,do you really want to deal a business??!!!

Re: Wrong Goods Sent, Who pays returns postage?
Sorry to hear that.
I have a similar case to share.

One of my buyer placed an order with his supplier.
As i worked for him as his QC and agency.
So my work is to follow up the order until shipping.
When the order was ready, the supplier sent me the package. When we opend it, it was not what my buyer's goods. So we had to return them.

Since i was starting my business trip on the road soon, to avaid any delay of shipping, i asked the supplier to send the right package to my buyer directly from their factory.

Guess what, this time this supplier sent the package to a wrong consignee---their another buyer (in USA). But my buyer was in Australia., And the supplier told us their US buyer would send the package to my buyer in Australia when their buyer receive this package.

My buyer was very upset and lost the confidence with them for long term although they offered good product and good price. BUT BAD SERVICES.

Many suppliers have to deal with different buyers everyday, it can be easier to make mistakes if they don't pay big attention.

So i always require myself to do everything carefully, double check, every quotation, every email, every package before i send out.
Once you lose 1 deal, you will lose your customers forever.
