I found a ridiculous thing. You know, we are a leather belt manufacturer. I fould a American website, their belt specially sign that MADE IN USA, AND NOT MADE IN CHINA.

but also American can not live without MADE IN CHINA, I think.

i love the guy who helped us ,so we recommend him to you.They are major in toy testing ,such as EN71,ASTM F963,phthalates ,RoHS,REACH and so on.

Because many times the quality is below Western standards and items fail too soon even if at first they are OK. Also prices are increased by Chinese for Westerners and when they find out you were selling the the same thing Ex-works to fellow Chinese for a fraction of what you charged the man in the West he is understandably annoyed.

My name is Susan. I would like to respond to this thread. We here in the United States, at one time, had products that you purchased one time and when they broke down were repairable. Now the products that come from China are disposable. We have to buy more and more and more. Do you know how many toasters I have purchased in my lifetime? MANY! Plus, some of us US Citizens are angry that our jobs were outsourced to China. Just saying.

And I would like to respond to you.

You know many of the American companies that you used to get those repairable products from are the ones who are now having these products made in China. There are several reasons that they get them made in China, with a couple of the major ones being:-

1. Customers demand lower priced products
2. Many people in the US don't want to do the type of work involved in standing on a production line.

Go ask them why they don't have large production lines to make your repairable toaster anymore.

Do you know that a large proportion of the manufacturing done in China is as a result of foreign investment. Meaning that much of what comes out of China is actually a result of money coming in from such places as the US.

So you do need to be a little careful about pointing the finger. You don't honestly believe someone like walmart is buying their goods from the top shelf do you?? Of course not, they are buying the cheapest they possibly can to maximise their profit. And if that means you having to buy more toasters, well then thats more sales isn't it.

Shop at a place that sells better quality and you will get a better toaster. It will cost you more though.

So when you get angry at all these outsourced jobs, maybe you should sit back and determine who it is you should be angry at.
