Re: How to ship small quantities?
Regarding the shipment, there are various of ways, such as Express, Air or Sea, it all depends on the volume and the weight and the delivery time as well.

So you can ask your supplier for the best way for your small quantity products whatever Express,Air or Sea , you can choose one of them as the best options.

Re: How to ship small quantities?
If you will directly go to the DHL or FEDex their freight is almost 150% more than what you can get from any Agent or Freight Forwarder. As freight forwarders forwards many shipments a month so they have special rates to offer to the clients. Always take the quotation from 3 to 5 forwarding agent for the same thing and choose the one you feel the better for you. I hope this answer would be helpful for you. Thanks.

Re: How to ship small quantities?
For that size of order you will need to either go with a courier company or DHL - 1CBM is probably too small for LCL to be economical

It’s nice to take a vacation once in a while because this gives you physical and mental refreshment. I can still remember my unforgettable experience when I was in Bantayan Island. The place was indescribable. The surroundings were rare, pleasant to your soul.

So I have been researching on how to import goods. I have found manufacturers, and I found a way to sell the goods, but my problem is the shipping. I'm just starting out, and I don't have a lot of money to invest, and I just want to start out small. Shipments about one cubic meter or smaller. Most of the information that I have found deal with freight shipping, and using a forwarder and a broker. When I contacted a forwarder they said it would be about $1000, which is obviously way to much for me. Does anyone have any information on using a small parcel service like DHL. I realize the shipping costs would be higher, but I don't mind since I will be reinvesting the money that I make, and eventually, hopefully, be able to afford larger shipments using a cheaper method. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated

Thank you Giant for posting this questions. I just started too, I wanted to start small, because i don't have much  capital. Also, I really wanted to get it to know my supplier build an honest  trustworthy business relationship. But, i am having difficulties as well on shipping, even in a small amount. My questions the customes need your  EIN number even in a small shipment? Thank you.

I agree, dhgate is true scam, not the platform itself, but those who sell there. Tried it once, got scammed in like 5 minutes. Good thing i was able to cancel an order and get my money back.
