I run a business where we process 2,000+ iphone each month and export mainly to China/HK and some in USA where most **** or repair and resell.
We want to start doing some of this refurbishing in our own facility for retail sales.
My partners have the concern that using parts to repair iPhone have patent to worry about.
Please remember, we do NOT wish to use any part that have logo or apple writing on the parts. EX: Back housing, will not have a Apple Logo.
Can someone tell me of the legality (For US) in refurbishing these phones here. I know everyone here not use OEM. Is too expensive. Most use copy parts. We want to use non-OEM parts, but not copy and no parts representing apple logos etc.
Even if everyone get away with it now I do not want to set up business model around something where the government agency might walk in one day. Just prefer to keep wholesale.
Can anyone shine some light on this topic on **** fake vs aftermarket part (just like original, but no logos).
The parts in question that we need to use for replace are
1) Back Housing
2) Digitizer
3) Flex Cables
4) Dock Assemblies
Thank you!
