Sept 08 ,2011 I would like to report a fraud , and share our experience of buying USB from a company name. LIDE-USB in Shenzhen, China ( or Jinshan Huihuang Trading Co.,Ltd. in Hong Kong) . 13/6/2011 , we looked for the USB suppliers from Alibaba.com, and I sent an inquiry to one company, next day (14/6/2011) , I was surprised that the services from Alibaba.com , because I received 7 replies from different suppliers while I only sent 1 inquiry. The price from these 7 suppliers were good, but also similar. There was one thing that made me feel unusual --- the email address from these 7 suppliers are similar, for example : xxxxboss@ yahoo.com or boss.xxx@ hotmail.com or xx.boss@ hotmail.com. 20/06/2011, We chose LIDE-USB, and asked 1 pc sample from them, we also wired the sample fee at same day. 29/09/2011, We received a custom made sample from LIDE-USB, I would say the sample was almost perfect! 30/06/2011, We sent an order of 3,000pcs 2GB USB with gift box , price USD1.50/pc, with door to door transport fee USD290 to LIDE-USB (Jinshan Huihuang Trading Co.,Ltd ) . we received the Proforma invoice with their company’s stamp from them at same day. 05/07/2011 , We wired the deposit 30% of total amount which is USD 1,431.00 to LIDE-USB (Jinshan Huihuang Trading Co.,Ltd ) 07/07/2011, LIDE-USB (Jinshan Huihuang Trading Co.,Ltd ) confirmed had received our 30% payment , but also informed us the price of USB had increased to USD4.20/pc, and transport fee became USD2,700. 07/07/2011, We sent an registered letter by DHL to LIDE-USB(Jinshan Huihuang Trading Co.,Ltd ), asked them to respect with our contract, and ship the items on time. 09/07/2011, DHL express informed us the recipient refused the package, because the address which was given by LIDE-USB (Jinshan Huihuang Trading Co.,Ltd ) is a BANK, not their address!!!! 11/07/2011 , Since LIDE-USB (Jinshan Huihuang Trading Co.,Ltd ) didn’t follow the agreed contract, so we asked them to refund the payment we had already made. However, LIDE-USB (Jinshan Huihuang Trading Co.,Ltd ) didn’t refund our money right away, they kept telling us “the money didn’t transfer successfully” because they made mistakes. 02/08/2011, Finally, we received the refund of USD1,188.66 which is USD242.34 less than we have paid. Of course, LIDE-USB (Jinshan Huihuang Trading Co.,Ltd ) denied they had paid less , and told the difference of USD242,34 was taken by the banks. Even we have received part of our money, but the time we wasted and the work we made are uncountable. We thought this is a fraud, and hope Alibaba would do something on this matter.
