Hi guys,
I think, if we all contribute our experience/ideas about how to know a fraudster in this section, it will be grately benificial for everyone. Lets start with some general procedures we all follow. Add to this list if you think it will help.
1. Face to face meeting is the best way, no doubt.
2. Ask for trade/commercial licence copy with ref: no.
3. Check with the respective authority.
4. Ask for referrence.
5. Ask about the company from others in the same region.
6. Check bank details and match with Company details.
7. Match signature part, website and company details.
8. Try to get in touch with the Management only.
9. Insist on communicating through company mail account.
9. Keep record of all communications/conversations done.
10.Observe, is their interest mostly on money ?
11.No professional person ever says 'NO' to a good business opportunity.
12.Are they co-operating on giving proofs ? If not then its obvious.
13.An original company won't even try to hide anything.
14.Always pay if only it's a company account, not a personal account, unless you know them personally.
Thats all from my side dudes. I'll add more if I come accross some. Hope this helps, Take care.

Replying to [TwinMOS]:there are a couple more that need to be added :)
Never pay via Western Union, always pay to a certified company bank accounts
Never trust someone who obviously doesn't trust you,
Never trust someone who shows you a UPS/DHL tracking tag that doesn't mention:
- the pickup point
- the weight of the shipment,
- the delivery point
- and the status of the payment.
Never mention payment before the sales person does it.
Cheers,

I like the way you spell this out, my question is, are there any real honest buyers out there? I have received $250,000.00 in worthless checks and money orders in the past month. Though I didn't loose anything other than several hours work. Why do they waist their time like this?
