If everyone understand how Apple handle their distribution channel, there shouldn't be any chance you could buy it at good prices unless you are authorized reseller, authorized distributor, or you are big enough to sign supplier contracts with them but retail only. Call Apple in US or your local country to find out.

I wonder why no one every say ipod are almost impossible to get. I even visit the factory in China that produce ipod, the factory in China produce ipod screen etc. So is that mean I could get ipod? no, but I can get the workers to steel some unboxed ones.

Of course, you might got a chance to buy from some liqudations somewhere. But I doubt it.
