Hi!
This is where your bank comes in. Technically, I believe your bank is called the advising bank.
There are some major international banks called Prime Banks. If the L/C issued by the buyer's bank (if it is not a Prime Bank) is confirmed by a Prime Bank, then there is no cause for worry.

I prefer to use T/T (50% deposit, balance before shipment) rather then L/C from Bangladesh. It is more save.

We have in our country most of the Banks do not accept L/c
from Bangladesh..You have to send money via T/T
