Whats the Point of reporting scammers anyways?
It is so easy to repost, even a child can do it.
Not Complaining, but just curious...what Alibaba can really do to stop scammers.
For instances, say I am a scammers... I get reported, I get taken off Alibaba listings.... BIG DEAL... I sign on with another fake yahoo or hotmail e-mail address and continue to scam.
One of the most interesting scams I almost bought into was a company who sent all the "Correct information"... but when I checked with the Hong Kong Trade Council they were copying the infomtion from another legit company. The fake company had the .net website with the exact same front page but different contacts... the legit company had the .com website. At first glance I thought they were the same, but no so. The Scammer had sent me information in response to my buying lead on Alibaba...
Does Alibaba ENSURE once a scammer is found and removed, they will NEVER return again? or are we all still gambling and pulling our hair out, trying to find a legit vendor.
I read the posts all the time and it seems more people get scammed for more money then legitimate trades being made.
Help us Alibaba, we all want a safe and trusting trading environment.
There is an old American saying " don't let a few rotten apples spoil the bunch" well folks there are A LOT more than a few rotten apples from my experience. If anyone found a legit vendor, who they are currently doing business with, please let the rest of us know. There is an opportunity for everyone to make money, don't think because we are using the same vendor we will compete... no so... 6 Billion+ people in the world, trust me neither you or I will be effected from eachother.

Replying to [bargainbinpc]: I agree in some way with you, but also is scaring and worried for that reason in my case I take the risk but I protect very well before to make the business.

I agree, I think the feedback system that eBay has definitely helps buyers purchase with more ease and comfort. For instance you will not see any Nigerian scammers selling jewelry or HD tv's on eBay with 500 feedback. going on alibaba almost seems pointless with all the scams out there.
