i have recently sent sample of goods to china, if acceptable, will ship initially 1x 20ft container,

anybody reccomend cheapest shipping agent , from uk port to possibly quingdo, going CIF,

buyer clears customs, and picks up goods from port, am relatively new to this game

Hi,this is a freight forwarder in Ningbo,China.Maybe I can help you a little on this issue.

CIF means you need pay the O/F and all local charges at your end including insurance.

As there are many UK ports,such as Flixstowe/Southampton/Thamesport etc.,and O/F may vary with different POLs,so pls inform the POL.

You may find a freight forwarder in UK,and they will help you with all the following procedures including the import in China.I have reliable agent in UK,if you need ,=my introduction,pls contact me freely.

It is great that you did not do business with Yuyang District Yulin City Xinyilian Cloth Firm and have something to put in your 20' container.

You might consider splitting a 40' and reducing your expense by 25%. Your supplier might help you find a partner in the venture.

HI all thanks for keeping this lead running, update we sent sample to china, to the buyers lead, we need we need we need!!!

pls pls pls, so we sent and when  they  receive, sample was to wet!!!, I told them we washed before sending!! SO AS NOT TO

RECEIVE DIRTY STINKING PRODUCt !!  crab shell in this instance, and then we hear no more!

I have met the same situation.one year ago,I send a sample to a American buyer by air ,the i GOT news from the TNT company that the sample had been received by him,but when i contact him,there was no news anymore.
what a sad bussiness!
