[em4]Are people in china still operating a Western Union Scam?

I've been disturbed lately with a couple of test transactions I've made to China from people selling goods including gaming equipment, software, computers and other electronic equipment.  They all requested Western Union instead of PayPal, CC or other payment.  When I didn't get the products, the vendors NEVER responded and I never received my products.

I'm in the United States and have no way to file a theft claim against these people.

I too have been cheated on the items I ordered and paid for with 2 China companies. I am now very reluctant to buy anything from another Chinese company. Surely there must be some way for the police to catch these criminals and save the Chinese business comunity reputation world wide.

Sincerely

I forgot to mention that I live in Australia and paid for the items through T/T and have the bank details. Is there anything I can do to get help to bring these people to justice and get a refund?

Tips For Foreign Trader

1. Chose the qualified and registered company
Do not buy from free member that sell expensive product, good product, exclusive product, because they should be qualified member if they sell those item.

Big company has a cost to adversities their product, they sold be a qualified member if they serious to sell the item.

2. Look at the company profile, read carefully, see the contact us page, see the details address and make sure that they put mobile number or phone line. Try not to deal if they put a mobile number.

3. Buy available stock only, if you like to make order (for first time) you could give them Down payment, if point 1 and 2 is met.

4. try to not send payment by Wetern Union and Money Gram for First Time and Use paypal service.

5. ask the sample first before you make a Big deal, and for the second order try not direcly order in large quantity, be patiente to make a middle order.

6. if the seller is Alibaba Gold supplier or TrustPass member, try to confirm the company to Alibaba service Team wheter the company is True or Sacammer

as long as my experience, I have never could jail the scammers, buyer always give up with the system to jail the thief.

You need to report the case to interpol in your country, bring the data and interpol in your country will contact china interpol, and report the company to Alibaba too, so in 24 hours Alibaba will delete the Company.

but I never heard in this forum, that buyer could jail the thief, although the seller receive the payment by Bank Transfer.
