European Union is main importer of Ukrainian sunflower oil

   In September 2009, _European Union was main importer of Ukrainian sunflower oil.

   For the first month of a season 2009/10 to the _EU countries 70 % from all volume taken out for the given period have been exported 4,6 thousand tons of sunflower. In the last season in _EU  50 % from total export of the sunflower oil have been taken out 371,7 thousand tons of seeds of sunflower, or nearly so.

   Costs increase in volume of export of sunflower-seed oil in _EU . So, in September, 2009 on the given region it was necessary to 178,2 thousand tons of sunflower-seed oil against 59,7 thousand tons for the similar period of the previous season.

   As well as in the past, in a current season to the EU countries the basic part of by-products of processing of sunflower exported from _Ukraine. So, for the first month of a current season in EU from _Ukraine it has been taken out 78,6 thousand tons, or 77,5 % from total export of given production.

   As to _rapeseeds for the period July-September, 2009 to the _EU  countries it has been taken out 479,3 thousand tons, or 75,5 % from total exports sunflower oil from _Ukraine for the period.
