now more customer are more careful about the price than the quality.

They don't need to use them for a long time, just for promotion.

fast-moving consumer goods are more popular.

Nowadays, the reason why there are less and less buyer inquiry for high quality products might include follows:

1.  For certain markets, there is no need for quality products, especially for some poor area. There might be some rich customers who want to purchase expensive quality goods. But for most other customers, they can't afford the high price. So, as a businessman, they won't only place several orders for only a few customers.

2. For the buyers you met, unluckily most of they are not of that kind who is top buyers. Their business are not involved with those quality goods.

3. Now for most buyers abroad, they hold a concept in their mind that Chinese goods are quality with cheap price. They don't need to waste too much cash if they always buy quality goods. Once, I came across two buyers who were interested with our quality goods. But their target prices are really unbelievable and we can't afford it. They insisted that they could buy the same thing with that price. Finally, I asked them to transfer orders to the suppliers who can supply that.

Hope it could be of help to you. Good luck!. [em18]

Hi There!

Probably you are receiving fewer inquiries for auto parts because the car manufacturing industries in North America and Europe are in such bad shape. Production levels for most large car makers have dropped significantly from their peak. So most companies supplying OEM auto components will have experienced a big drop in sales and a similar drop in inquiries.

The distribution (ie, repair parts) auto parts business is probably in better shape than the OEM market. However, as a result of the recession people have less money to spend and are being more conservative with the money they have. Many people will only replace parts on their cars when absolutely necessary to do so. They will probably replace items that wear out (ie, like the wiper blades sold by your company) less frequently than before the start of the recession. As consumers buy fewer parts the distributors will be ordering less product from suppliers like yourself. Most large distributors probably had too much inventory going in to the recession so they've had even less need to re-order product during the recession.

Conditions will eventually improve. I'm starting to see an increase in quote activity in my business. Hopefully, you'll soon see more inquiries (leading to orders) in the near future as well.

Be hopeful ... and good luck to you!

P.S. A Canadian company that buys a lot of wiper blades is Canadian Tire (www.canadiantire.ca). Check them out!
