I am new to alibaba and already I hear stories of how people are getting scammed left right and center.

It seems to me there are no genuine suppliers on this site and is suppost to be one of the largest sites in the world along side google.

Is all the money it gets from scammers why its so big?

Has anyone found any decent suppliers of anything or is the whole site one big scam?

Which payment types are safe if there is one that is safe?

This world have so many scams

there are genuine suppliers on this site, the only problem is that the products they offer are not genunie. this site thrives because people continue to sign up and feed into these scam companies. I am thuroughly convinced that Alibaba is in kahoots with many of them. Its funny that there are basicly no gold suppliers in the USA yet everyone and their mom is gold in china. So what alibaba is telling me is that no one in the USA can afford the gold status price but everyone in china can?! excuse me!??!!!??? no the reason is that there are laws in the usa and if alibaba was in kahoots with a scammer it could be traced back to them. where as in china there are no laws against it so the scammers continue to thrive on there because alibaba gets their membership money. simple as that. if you are looking for replica golf clubs let me know lol.

It is hard to read persons. some of them are greedy for $ .
if they are serious and in high personality.even you pay by W/U,things good as well.
if you don't trust new supplier,it is better that you pay by Paypal.it is a safer way compared with others,but paypal charge too much procedure fee,even genuine supply don't accept that.

people get scammed is because they are not wise, that is why there is a chance for the scammers.

If you are buying legit items and don't believe those 1 dollar buy a nokia original phone or iphone, sure, no one quote a phone 1 dollar, it is impossible, this is just an example and tell you that don't believe those items that are impossible.

If you are buying big amount of goods, choose an agent to guide you is the best choose to avoid risk.

ALL SCAMMERS ARE CHINESE... someone indirectly said that here..... let me tell you buddy there is enough crime in every country to fill a site with scammers... dont tell me people in your country are all saints.. Ameriacans decide not to sign up in Alibaba thats not Alibabas fault.... its your mistake.... I got scammers from US, Finland , UK, almost every country..... ELECTRONICS ELPECIALLY MOBILE PHONES AND LAPTOPS are always in demand... this is the scammers hitlist... so be carefull of suppliers selling these product... rest have a good chance of being good suppliers...
