Best to do when supplier appears not so clear is to hire SGS BV or any other international inspectors, and to control quantity and quality of the loading, if there is a loading for you, always pay against dhl or any transport loading information, the worst that may happen is that may receive some stones instead of good, but you have papers and informatoin enough to make a kegal claim.
Some of the point that friends of Alibaba says are rather wicky, some honest agents do work in their homes, but one recommendation is very accurate,make payment through bank, you can trace it, acoid western union or TT.
