As a newcomer of the international trade,I give some of my suggestions:
1,Go to workshop to get the best understanding of the products and production process, when a customer ask you ,you can give a professional answer.
2.If there is no customer come to find you,you should go to find them.there are many free B2Bwebsite, you can rigister and publish the information.
go to the forums that related to company's products, maybe you can get unexpected profits.
But I think the best way is to be a paid member of good platform, like alibaba, etc
3.After register, you can sign in and see if there any inquires.
At the same time you should know how to communicate with customers,an how to quote.
This is my experience, may be you have know some of them,I also a new to this period, maybe we can learn some thing from each other
