so far as I know, western union is not just like the remittance in China.
If you want make the payment to someone in China,you must know his ID number,address, After you paid you will get the tracking number,if the receiver don't have the tracking number,even the money arrived his accout,He can't get the money from the bank.
Western Union is safe.

I have read that if they have a copy of the receipt they can see the recipient name and collect the money anyway (e.g. with a fake ID).

So I'd advise against this.

Tips For Foreign Trader

1. Chose the qualified and registered company
Do not buy from free member that sell expensive product, good product, exclusive product, because they should be qualified member if they sell those item.

Big company has a cost to adversities their product, they sold be a qualified member if they serious to sell the item.


2. Look at the company profile, read carefully, see the contact us page, see the details address and make sure that they put mobile number or phone line. Try not to deal if they put a mobile number.

3. Buy available stock only, if you like to make order (for first time) you could give them Down payment, if point 1 and 2 is met.

4. try to not send payment by Wetern Union and Money Gram for First Time and Use paypal service.

5. ask the sample first before you make a Big deal, and for the second order try not direcly order in large quantity, be patiente to make a middle order.

6. if the seller is Alibaba Gold supplier or TrustPass member, try to confirm the company to Alibaba service Team wheter the company is True or Sacammer

7. Pray to GOD for Help

Hi, I have been offered a similar deal from a company in the USA. I have telephoned Wetern Union help desk and they have told me that if you give another person/supplier the payment reference number or fax the receipt, they can collect the money with fake ID. She told me NEVER to tell anyone the reference  number or fax any info because you are not covered. Yes you can change the name, but the second the supplier receives your fax/reference number they will colect the money.

I hope this helps.Go onto the Western Union website and check the number for their help team and ring ask check out what they have to say.

i just started using alibaba for a week now and i keep reading all this topics about scammers.

what can i tell you, last week i was looking to purchase asap 20 Apple Iphones 3gs 32gb for my shop.

i checked a few chineese suppliers but i couldn't decide if they were real or not.all of them were into western union.

so i found a free member based in UK who had this products on sale.

he requested that i pay 4100 euros with shipping to Florida by FedEx.
i tought he is real if he is in Europe , not in China.So i payed him by Moneygram (he asked this payment option).

well i payed at around 4 pm .he told me he will ship them next day due to time difference. I waited like he told me.When i checked my email i received the tracking number for FedEx company.i checked it and it was ok .
i was suspicious because i payed him a lot of money and didn't knew what to think of the order.

so after 5 days i got the package at my door.I was surprised to see that he sent me the phones and after i checked them they were 100% genuine .so what can i say i am happy.
i talked to him yesterday by phone and let him know that i will for sure come back next week for another 20 units.

so if you are into Apple Electronics you can contact this seller.so even if a lot of people say that free members are not ok, i got my lucky seller from the start and i will not buy anything from china ever.
