In Jepara  and several town in Indonesia, the supplier/exporter were using
chemicals liquid (strong Acid and Soda) to enhance and manipulating or
cheating the wood looking/color from Sap wood of the teak become
grade A wood (prime quality).

Many cases that the buyer had been traped and tricked with very cheap
price offering from the supplier, this unreasonable prices are only could
possible with the low grade of teak, which only cost you 70% less than
the grade A high quality plantation Teak Wood.
The villager maker/craftsman can sell it in 5 USD only for raw Folding chair
whilst the normal medium grade of it cost you 10 to 15  USD in raw
and for High grade A will cost you 20 = 30 USD
White or Sapwood part of the log.and these low grade teak are not good
at outdoor, it is not weatherproof.
So, be very careful of what you deal/buy for Teak Garden from Jepara.
