I used to be an emplyee after graduated, and complainted many things about companies i worked for and the bosses.
Maybe you will have the same feeling like what i am going to tell.

I have working as a sourcing agent the past years and run my own company.

Now i can understand the real differences and the real situation of being a emplyer.

1) When i was an employee,
I hope the work time is not that early, hope the working time is not that long.
Even use working times to do my own things, like cyber-chatting.

Now I hope to work as long as i can. As time is money.
I tried not to login msn, try to use emails for brief communications with buyers instead.
Using msn for faster and closer communications if necessary.

2) When I was an employee,
I was always wondering why the boss gave a long face in front of his employees? I thought in mind"no body owed him MONEY,why he gave such a face?!"

Now i am becoming more and more serious. The smile is less and less on my face.
I never pretend to look serious. But I can't be relax when I am under a lot of pressure.
For example, when something don't work out correct, or the business is not going well.
I hope to give the clerks a relaxed smile, but really can't smile from heart.

3) when I was an employee,
I complainted that the boss push you to work as more as you can. I mean, work passive.

Now I am working active as more as i can.No need the boss to push you to work.

4) When I was an employee,
I complainted the boss is stingy towards the clerks.
I thought we help him to make money but he was stingy.
For example, when summer comes, the factory or the office don't turn on the air conditions, we worked inside and wet all over from head to foot.

Now, I tried to use less with air condition when i work alone in my office.
I write a paper two sides, front and opposite.
I try not to waste money and use things fully.I try to reduce the wastages and costs.

5) When i was an employee,
I always thought the boss make a lot of money, his wealth was due to his fortune/luck only.

Now, I want to tell all the employees in the companies that your boss is really not that easy.
He work much harder, he is clever/brilliant, he is professional... that was why he is a boss and make much more money than you.

He earn much more money but he also spend/invest more money to pay the offices, clerks, machines and other expenses.

I learn a lot when my role of being a employee to be a employer.
