1)Get a list of potential suppliers,you can use the internet or purchase an exporters directory which deals speficically with the country you are interested in,contact the embassy of the country they usually have trade attaches who may assist you get a list of prospective exporters.
2)Create a list of at least 20-30 companies and contact them,seek information on price list,product specifications,inspection certificate,packaging,shipping,minimum order,samples,catalogue.
3)Not all of them will respond accordingly check out the companies which have fully answered your query and conduct a due dilligence on the companies-you can use google just type in the name of the company and add the word scam,if they are reputable you won't find any negative comment if not check out what people say about the company.If possible go to their factory and look at it,make use of the Local Trade Chamber which may have information of the company,
With the above you can start of on the exciting world of international trade[em1]
