same thing with me, they provided me with a DHL tracking number, but when I checked online and via our DHL agent, they informed me that it was an invalid tracking number. A certain Maria Chen told me the items got stuck in customs so they iransferred the shipment to China Post & issued a China Post tracking number which still displays no records. I kept emailing and all I got were vague replies which did not really answer any of my questions, I already notified alibaba about it though. But so far, no action from their end.
This is really terrible since they've been Gold members for 2 years, I even inquired with an alibaba agent if guangzhou xintong department store has received any complaints from previous buyers and they told me that the company has no records of complaints. So are they covering for these crooks now?
I still hope I could get my money back, I just don't know how
