We tried a different number to reach the City Government. The representative informed us that she would search for our online letter (since there other online letters as well) to see how officials are handling it and contact us.

The City Government Representative who answered the phone today confirmed that the online letter had been forwarded to City Government Officials. We may need to be a little patient.

If we haven't heard from them for about a week, we will submit another letter to ask, since the representative on the phone was not able to find out, although she did confirm that the letter had been forwarded to City Government Officials.

The City Government Officials are in the same Shijiazhuang city. They seem to be open and care with open communications on the Internet and the phone lines. We will see and we could even try higher level.

We just had a very good online conversation with Jason, since Daisy is on maternity leave. Jason promised that he will email a letter to explain. He said that it was probably because of miscommunication.

Ms. Daisy Liu wrote a letter to Alibaba on Oct. 13 to request that the post be removed. We have just received the letter after talking to Mr. Jason Ma, since Ms. Daisy Liu is on maternity leave.

In the letter Ms. Daisy Liu explained:

1. When giving the quote, she gave the price higher than the asking price including the commission, but in the end, the price cut was deep so they were hesitant. Also, the payment was by L/C; unfortunately the price went up significantly after the contract was signed, so the company incurred a loss.

2. The company would prefer to having the shipping date changed but unsuccessfully.

3. The company was not allowed to show contact info in the contract and L/C.

4. Most importantly the company had only shipped 22.5 ton per container before but not 25 ton.

5. Since the product is highly sensative the company does not have but the factory has the export permit, and the general manager has been busy working on the accounting and currency problems.

6. The company is waiting for curreny exchange office approval and also the accounting manager is often out of the office.

7. Ms. Daisy Liu hadn't received the communications.

The company requested that the post be removed and the management will discuss to resolve the problem. They are concerned that the post may have an adverse effect on the company in the future.
