How to feel a customer will place order or not?
1. if the customer ask about the price with quantity, products description in detail, packing detail, shipping mark detail, then you must pay high attention on the quotation, it could be a potential customer!
2. if the customer would like to pay the sample and air freight charge, and have reply on the sample. then i could feel he will place the order soon.
3. if the custome like to visit your factory first, then treat it carefully. i could also feel it.

I think you should have a idea when a buyer contacts you that you have checked their company in more detail, find out more what products they deal in, their market, how they buy they present products, the price they charge now and is there a profit markup?
This would give you depth to the business and understanding, but if the buyer can save money you have a chance to make business, but you still need to offer the buyer the right backup services, if they buy from UK suppliers, TIME TO GET PRODUCTS, PAYMENT TERMS, QUALITY AND RETURNS, COMMUNICATION, PRODUCT CERTIFICATION, PACKING, so if you can show that these problems would not cause issues you have a chance to continue.
