What To Do When A Supplier Does Not Supply
Post 1 of 48

We like with working with Alibaba.com suppliers to get product, however we have problems with suppliers that do not send the products we purchased.

What recourse do we have with bad suppliers?  What can we do to protect ourselves from bad suppliers?

The losses from suppliers are mounting, but we don't want to leave.  Can you please offer advice on how to qualify suppliers and make sure they will supply?  Is there a business license we can request from all suppliers?  Can we request documentation from suppliers that shows they are a real business?  If so, what are those documents?

Your advice is appreciated.  Thank you!  Please reply your thoughts.

if sample is not available, ask them to show you the Chinese company register license, which is a usual action we do during domestic trade.

what's more, ask some local Chinese to verify the goods before shipping if the quantity is big enough

I agree, I have just been scammed out of a $600 order!!! Now they will not respond to me.... They said that customs seized the order and they would get back to me with a resolution. Maybe there should be a balck list so that people aren't put through the same thing. It is only going to hurt the rest of the companies as I have no confidence in any of the other suppliers now!!!

I bought to ETROSS  22 Thin client , "GOLD SUPPLIER" the products don't work and nobody there can help me , is bad for ALIBABA to have "GOLD SUPPLIER" that sent products that don´t work, great bussines, but is like one time sell is bad for all the companies and for buyers [em6] we can open markets in other countries but with their examples no way. Alibaba must have records of  customers satisfaction or a black list . In two buys  2 fails

Longteng Industry (HK) Co Ltd is another company that will bug you for your money, but end all conversations when they get it.  Placed and order, sent money via Western Union, but NO PRODUCT was shipped, and they say their a "Gold Supplier".  Save yourself time and money and don't stop.  They are not an honorable company, especially Mary Ma!

Haolihuo (HK) Int'l Trading Ltd is another company that scams buyers. i bought 2 units of phones paid for it and got emails that they have received my payment for the the 2 mobile phones. communication was very clear and the brand and models were even specified in the order process they even have pictures of the said phones. They were LG GM730. They let me wait for two weeks and sent me one unit of a phone with no brand, and not even worth anything. This is really bad. The contact person there is Ms. sunny han and sunny smith. Buyers beware of this company and sellers. How could alibaba help us get what we honestly paid for. I still see them online. and they still have that "Gold Supplier" Logo
