Anyone have any funny stories to share from their travel experiences?

I was in one of the departures areas of Mumbai International airport last month. It wasnt time to check in yet, so I bought a coffee and snack. The only table and chair in the whole place was a glass topped table and stool in an alcove with adds by a mobile phone company offering a trip to Ireland as a prize for a competion they were running. There were pictures of tourist attractions covering the walls of the alcove. I sat down at the glass table with my coffee and pizza slices.

An Indian man came over and asked me if I am from Ireland. I told him I am but have nothing to do with the company advertising the competition. He kept asking me questions about Ireland, even though I kept explaning that I dont work here and am only sitting here because there are no tables at the cafes. Eventually I gave up and answered a bunch of questions about Ireland. At least he did not try to buy a holiday or a phone contract from me. :D
