Does anyone know where i can find cheap dvd boxsets that arn't copies or bootlegs, are there any cheap i.e. chinese made, quality, legal boxsets?

There are NO Chinese box sets that it is legal for you to buy direct from China..... This is the same as products like iPods etc.
Any company that IS legally producing them is doing so UNDER CONTRACT with the owner (eg Sony/ Viacom or whoever). Part of that contract is that it is illegal for the company to sell them to anyone else.
So even if you see a legitimately made DVD boxed set (24 or Mad Men etc) the company has no legal right to sell it to you. It would be defined as an illegal copy and hence you would be treated as a seller of an illegal copy.
The ONLYplace you can legitimately buy them is from the Owner or Distributor IN YOUR COUNTRY.
