Post 1 of 8

The most boring problem is that the buyer may satisfy with the price, but when it comes to send a sample, it's over. bcoz no one would like to pay the  the sample freight charge...it's embressing...

Don't know how to solve this kind of problem. It happend many  times, and no sample no business....

I have met the same problem.

Maybe We can try to get sample version fee a little more ,

Maybe it will cover the axpense of the freight charge.

Good luck

If you send a sample free, may be you met with some cheater also, who want free samples only. If a genuine buyer, he will never ask free sample. So just charge your nominal price and asked client to pay the frieght.

Never send a sample free of cost.

Many people, in Australia anyway, make a bit of a scam from requesting free samples. I know of friends who contact many traders & request a free sample. They receive some & then sell them on eBay. They have no intention of ever placing an order.

I have obtained samples & I have offered to pay for the items so as to let the trader know I am serious. But sometimes I wont go through with buying the samples because the freight costs are ridiculously high.

Some traders do the right thing with reasonable postage but some charge silly prices - trying to make a profit on the postage they charge. Sometimes it is a bit of a no-win situation.
