Could someone please tell me what the term "Fob price" means please and it's relevance to any given product.

FOB Price is the net price offered to the loading port by factories or exporters.

FOB means free on board
the FOB price is the exw price,domestic freight ,clearence fees ,THC ,port fees, manifest pre-distribution fee, and security fee

If you are buying FOB, it means the supplier will literally put the goods on board a ship for you for free
From that point you are responsible for all costs. In other words, you pay shipping, customs clearance and if the container happens to fall off the ship on the way, you also better have marine insurance
You have to allow for these costs in your final total landed cost calculation. If you are not confident or experienced enough, ask for a price CIF. You will have to name the city where you want it delivered to. Eg, CIF New York or CIF Denver
