How to use Alibaba to develop the clients!

Alibaba is one of biggest B2B platform as everyone knew in CHINA.for Many companies are already the paid members of Alibaba....

But in fact,  the suppliers just wait for inquiries and don't know how to take full advantage of this platform.


According to my operations of Alibaba forum in FOB, I would like to share some experiences to all of you here.  and hope this is helpful to news members of Alibaba.


1- make your company information fully and perfect (company profile,pictures and smiple mailbox )

Company profile-  A complete company information is very important for the supplier, it shows your company details to the clients, and let them know about your company, production, products  and your company service etc.


Product Pictures- As perfect and professional company information,it also includes the product pictures.Nice  and clear pictures are very effective. It will acctract many buyers.In general,nice pictures are very useful.


Simple Mailbox-  Pls don't make the mailbox name longer and harder.if it so, you will find out it is too difficult to tell your mailbox address when you call your clients. Please, the best way is to make your mailbox address simple. such as number ,132 or telephone number (123@163.com or yahoo.com ), it is easy for you to tell your clients and  know your mailbox address directly..(about the simple mailbox,just for your reference)forum.fobshanghai.


The 3 STEPS above are very important for the buyer of Alibaba to find clients.


2- Use the words Related .( products name)

After finshed  Step 1, Step 2 ,You should find the rigth name for your products. The product name is according to your market. Make sure of your products quality and which market you want to develop, then you make the related product name on the pictures.Make the right name for your product, it will be also very easy for the clients to find you out.


3- Pls don't wait for the inquiry all the time.

As everyone knows that, in Alibaba, 1 inquiry can be sent to hundreds or thousands suppliers by system. If you only wait then quote, of cource you can't get any order within 6 months. Except that you are the lucky one.So please don't wait, you must find more ways to develop the clients.


4- Find the clients at first

How to find the clients in Alibaba? You should make sure the market first, and find out the related words  of your products,and search it in Alibaba, get to know which company is looking for suppliers, and contact the clients. This is the first way. Another way is that find the supplier in another country who havs posted the sales imformation, and contact them, maybe the company is your clients in future.


Try your best to find the clients. then you will be successful.
