Everybody who is in the international business will note that China is a "world factory",the products are cheap and good quality. But,after dozens of years later, Now,we can tell that more and more buyers are coming to the India to import goods.

I dont see India replacing China as world factory in next 10 or 20 years. Infact China also wont be able to retain its world factory position by that time. Development is a cycle and it keeps running through countries. Europe, USA were developed first, now this cycle has come to Asia, mainly in China and India. Both countries are still way behind first world, but still the potential of development is more here. Our populations can work for lower wages, which is clear from a recent survey by a Swedish entity which tells that Indians are getting as much as 20 times less salaries as compared to USA and Europe. The Chinese are better in this, but still not at par with first world. This cycle of development 'll go to many African countries in next 20 years and it'll 've effect on today's world factories' position.

I think India will be next world factory, They did it before, any reason casued Chinese instead of, thats because, Chinese is poor that time, less money can attract many workers.

Do you think that in future the Chinese people will be same as the 30years past? I am not sure.

But India is same as China, they are working hard too, I prefer India or China has same strong power in the world for production.

Of course, we should throw out the politics factors. because it is not good for the people.

As far as low skilled jobs/work is concerned, I don't think India can replace China because, as per my info, the wages are still very low in China compared to India.

However, where the work requires relatively higher skills, India might replace China and other countries because India has huge numbers of educated people such as engineers, etc. As an example, please take a look at the following article:

Finally, I believe that China is investing heavily in education; so, the skill levels in China might rise rapidly too. At the same time, the wage levels would also rise with the rising standard of living. As a result, China may do more and more of the better skilled production work that offers better wages. Therefore, the low skilled jobs might go to some other country, as Maheshji mentioned.
