Hello To all


I just started Import and Export business Couple of months ago. I am acting as an agent (broker)  in between seller and buyer. i donot want to tell seller and buyer about my commission in the deal. what type of L/C I should ask to buyer. and what other step should i consider while payment transaction. please explain.

you may make it clear in the contract about the commission.
as a broker,honest is the basis factor.right?

another choise, you can sign the contracts with your buyers and seller respectively.
then you have have two contracts,and get the double commissions. right?[em20]

If you want to protect to your commission fee from the dealing, you have to do some few procedure. first, you need confidential contract by the seller for commissions, and you need also made "Free Protect Agreement" and you send to letter to the bank that was advance bank,( beneficiary bank). The bank will pay you directly, after negotiation with seller. You don;t need back to back L/C or anythings.
Use Bank Instruments and you can protect your commisions and you can receive your commistion from the Bank, directly. You don't ask to Seller for payment for commission.
