Is it worth to send free samples to importers ?

1. If the value of your sample is high, then the buyer should pay the sample fee and the freight charge and you can refund the sample fee to the buyer when he place order with you.

 2. If the sample value is little, then you can send samples free to importer, but they should pay for the freight charge, which can prevent some people who are hunting for free samples.

3. You can also negotiate with the buyers about samples. It depends on the agreement you make. May be you can ask buyer to pay half of the value of the sample.

CONCLUSION : We have seen in so many cases, Buyer tries to get the sample free of cost, but if samples are offered free of cost, around 80% of importers will not, actually, place the order and they will just sell the free sample. The best way to offer the sample for free is to offer reimbursement at the time of placing the actual order. So that the Importer and Exporter both will get benefited

sometimes, if the sample value is little, and the customer's cooperation is very sincere, we will consider send the free sample at our charge.[em2]

First and Foremost thing to understand is buyer is really interested in your products.

Make sure that u have enough chat or understanding with him like spec of the product, quality, price, quantity and payment terms.

As my experience says that free sample if buyer ask, means he is either want the sample but not want to do business or he is not serious in business.

Best is give free sample but let him pay for the Express charges so chances of getting orders are more secured.
