Alibaba company launched a new business since last year.
The fees to be a paid menber is much cheaper now. So more and more suppliers tried to advertise their products in alibaba.
It is so nice that there are more chances for many Chinese suppliers to get orders. As alibaba is well known in the world as a professional B2B website and e-business platform.
(I was learnt that their this new business went very well. many many new companies became their paid members now)
But in the meanwhile, more scams was and will happens.
I got many inquires these 2 months about branded products again, especially like branded memory cards and branded phones. And there are so many suppliers sell these products in alibaba. I can't tell they are all scam, but you should open your eyes when you deal with branded suppliers for branded products. The company may be legal, but they may offer the copy or refurnish products. So you'd better ask them clearly before place the order.(they won't tell you they are copy or refurbish products, as they think you know in mind what prices for what products)
I was informed by a old customer, who experienced the scam recently. She ordered a real branded phone from a company, the company sent it. She place a bigger order, then they never send the goods, the scam happened. She sent me two business licence from this company for my reference, i found it is not belong to that company at all. And from the contact address I found from their website, I just felt it is rather suspect.
Pls try to have the companies verified before place the order, especailly for the branded products.
