Same way you make decisions on choice of buying a car for example.
First, you have to establish you criteria, and list them under two parts: mandatory and preference. Then you start screening them under these criteria and see if they meet them, the mandatory ones are more important.
For example, if you are buying a car, and choosing which one to buy, and what is you purpose and budget. Mandatory criteria is what you must have, and preference is what you like to have. If you want a car to impress someone you think who may be impressed, your girlfriend, and you think of buying a big car, and a prestige name, like LEXUS. Then you start looking at your budget, how much will the fuel cost, and running cost, and maintenance.
Similarly looking for LED suppliers, check on their credibility, track records, how many similar projects have they done? check with others to verify if that is true, and ask around who supplied the lightings for such and such project. How much does it cost and what is the quality of their work and product.

Hello all,
I come to with the honest and most sincerity. In an attempt not prejudge any foreign countries, we are going to inform you of one company in China that you should not buy from: HOTOP TECHNOLOGY. We purchased a I9B in hopes of doing future business and the phone stop working after 3 days. I informed them of this and they said to check the book. This company gives Chinese companies a bad name.

first, you can research the company's information during google. make sure other people's opinion around this company. such as forums, or you can find a chinese man to check the company's message by (www.baidu.com), use the CHINESE. in china ,everybody do that.
second, you can visit the factory,
third, get the more detail from State Administration of Industry and Commerce in china

in my opinion, it's not easy to find a good suppiler, you should do a lot of works, first you should identify real suppilers and spammers, second choose during the true suppilers, you can contact with their sales representatives, knowing some detail info about the suppiler and then ask for a sample to their products' quality and let them send you the items catalogue and pricelist, which one you choose ,it's up to you, good luck to you!

Best way; not to be let down by substandard quality is to work an arrangement with an established European or North American engineering firm which audits and works on product integrity. Although this posting may sound self-promoting it makes sense. The money and agrivation you may save will be well worth it. As an engineering firm we are constantly in China and other areas researching "best of the best" products to integrate into our markets. If you are an export entity looking to source, we recognize you are cost conscious and would adjust our pricing accordingly.
