what do you think of free members,do you really trust them

At first, I'm also a free member ,but'm wondering it's less trust as a free member or not.
Anyone ,welcome to tell me your ideas.

It is not a question of being a free member or a trustpass member which really defines a company's credibility. I am a free member too, and can say that each transaction we carry out with our overseas counterpart is as per intenational business norms. Many companies with trustpass and a proper website can also be unprofessional.
I am not referring here for payment mode by cash/TT transaction but by LCs. The point is........... it is a two-way communication between a Buyer & Seller, and if the communication is specific and professional, anyone can benefit whether they be a Free member or Trustpass member.

The Federal Iron Group are free Members,
If we are Free Members or Paid is absolutely irrelevant.
It is the Honesty and way we conduct our Business, that is the way we are judged.
We have thousands of offers and inquiries every year because we are polite and professional to those that seek to engage business with our Group.
Although our Membership is Free , we considerably contribute to the continued success of this Very Good Trade Portal ; because the Mills and Mines know they will find what they need by coming to our site.

the question should not be whether you can "trust free members" .
the bad contacts are not the free members in general! there is bad contacts among the free members a n d among the paid members.
people who have bad intentions to con or fraud anyone of us for thousands of dollars have no problem in paying 349 usd to become a "trusted" member and then do their stuff.
the question is: why does alibaba not do a basic general check on a l l parties before they can become a member, free or paid. it is not difficult for alibaba to request a copy of a legitimate business or company registration.
as long as alibaba accepts members who do not disclose their contact details and operate with emails such as "abc1234@somefreemail" it is not surprising that there is room for plenty suspicious operators on this website.
but perhaps for alibaba the priority is an evergrowing number of members, no matter if genuine or not?a growing membership looks good to alibaba's shareholders and the more cons or fraud parties they have among their free members, the easier it is to convince genuine free members to pay up to become a "trusted" member.

we are a free member and have been for some years now.
once you get deeper into an actual transaction, brick and mortar skills and experience in conducting business are a must and can not be replaced by a fancy looking website or a paid membership.

They have not been verified by alibaba.com, therefore, could
be a scam.

What we do is provide wholesale factory direct from over 175 manufacturers a wholesale price on tee's, sweats, jackets,blazers, polo's button ups, shorts, uniforms, military wear, guard wear, inmate wear, and many other types of clothing. If fact we can provide any clothing at a moments notice. We then take their order and Custom embroider at no charge their logo or any custom logo that they need. The customer can also Just provide the art work and well do the rest. We have a lead time of 7-15 days depending on your order.
My point to all this is we deal with free members all the time. A free member should be able to allow you to see who their clients are, and what type of service that they have done. Some are just starting out and have never done business before, then it all comes down to L/C payment up front. Or at the very least L/C 50% down, and then 50% upon delivery going through paypal, What ever the terms are make sure that they are in writing. There are legal courses to take in the event they do not pay. Make sure you get refrences, legal constable if in another country, ask for picks of their factory if in doubt or just need added verification. If theyb are honest they should provide to you leagl letterhead, a toll free number or at least a couple of phone numbers from their business. Anyone can sell through alibaba free membership or a trusted membership, Which ever one you decide on doing business, get refrences. Just be cause they have a trust pass does not mean that they are guaranteed trustworty, crooks have money too.
Do your homework and deal with whom you feel comfortable, if you are free, then start small and build up to larger clients, If you are free, do not try to do more than you are capable of doing, be honest with your self, and do keep your eye's open. Any deal "to good to be true", It probalbly is. Be careful, enjoy the fun, and make profits through good trade.

I am a new member and a free member, I would think as a new venture that it is responsible for me to try the site before committing myself to it. I have noticed that many buying leads I post are not being answered and I'm sure this is because I'm not paying for your trust. I would ask myself why would someone go through the trouble to get information from other members if it's not for legitimate reasons, however this being said I haven't been here long enough to see for myself. I would also like to make a point that I have worked in sales and purchasing for may years and 90% of the prospective customers do not buy, so conny you shouldn't get too upset if you are replying and doing work and not getting a commitment.

Frankly speaking, I'm not really sure if I can really trust the seller. I just new member, at the moment I try to set up business according to my profesionalism.
I'm free member, worthy person who will start up business and need trusted and worthy partner. I have experience in my field for years.
