What is the Best way to import from china for a small importer like I am only want to import a thousand dollar products... What will be easy way to manage shipments and other issues like taxes etc.

How about shipment by DHL

EMS,DHL and UPS.These ship methods often no need to repay tax.

I think it depends on the goods CBM / WEIGHT,if it is too much,then the freight will be too hight.

Then by sea is a good way.

If you have many kinds of products, advise you use a service company. beacuse they can collect all products for you and ship to you 1 time. they will have some profit for your order and you will save the shipping fee by this way.

If you always import goods,for example few times per month. you can ask the service company to check the goods quality.
