Dear Business Friends,

I want to let you know, a scammer problem with a Gold Member company from alibaba.com.

Company's name; Guiyang Reap Trade Co., Ltd. This company is a "Gold Supplier" since 2 years.


Their web page is : http://ruipu.en.alibaba.com/contactinfo.html

They are selling electronic products with brandname.

On 23 June 2009 I had a contact with a sale officer from this company on trade manager. Her name was Sunny Chen.


I ordered 4 pieces DSLR cameras from Canon. We agreed on price. And also she offered me to send 2 ipods as gift. Then she sent me the proforma invoice. I trusted that company, because they were GOLD MEMBER, and more over it was since 2 years.

On 24 June I transferred the amount by Western Union to the name which is written on the invoice. I confirmed from my bank, that they drawed it on the same day. But 3 days long they kept me in suspense and they told me they didn't receive it. But after 3 days they told me that they received the money.

And after several days of discussion and my insistence they finally told me that they sent the products on 4 July 2009. By the way I spoke with the sales manager of the company (her name was Amy Huang), she excused and told me that this will never happen again.

Today I went to post office and received a very small box and there was nothing inside !!! And now I have no contacts with anyone from this company.

Dear friends, please don't do business with this fraud people. Guiyang Reap Trade Co., Ltd.is absolutely a scam company. And I wonder how Alibaba can provide this kind of people  with GOLDMEMBERSHIP. With this letter maybe I can prevent that they scam other people like me

I also informed the Alibaba Management and I'm still waiting for their response.

Today another guy informed me about a new case with the same company.. His name was Peter Hecht from Slovakia and he was scammed about 1150.-USD by the same company. Take care..

I can't understand why the webpage and profile of the company is still active on Alibaba. What are you still waiting for ? And it is another question, with whom will we go on trading now, if we even cann't  trust a Goldmember  ? Under this circumstances, what is the difference between the Goldmembers and Non-Goldmembers of Alibaba ?

So I understood, that it is not worth to own a Goldmembership. Strange, but true..

Please don't try to sell GOLD or TRUSTMEMBERSHIP to people, because it is unbelievable for me..

Hi to All If it can help us get justice or to get some money back I have the name and bnk details of the person who scammed me out of $710.00. Perhaps if we can inform the Chinese authorities they could look at this case. Comments Please Dennis van

I had a contact with a sale officer from this company on trade manager. Her name was Alice.

I ordered 2pcs for smart phone.On 9 July I transferred the amount 50% by Western Union to the name Amy Huang which is written on the invoice.And now I have no contacts with anyone from this company.Please beware this supplier Guiyang Reap Trade Co., Ltd.

Normally i have buy order from gold member every month but now i can't belive for all gold member.

Also me!!! I have ordered $ 650 of netbook with Amy Huang. Has furnished me a number of consignment ups that in their files doesn't exist! So a SCAM!!! I wonder me as is possible to make purchases with a gold member of Alibaba and not to be protected for our purchases. To become a member gold means to pay to Alibaba a monthly canon. Does Alibaba protect us? Do you do in way to get back back the money? Obviously I believe that they are questions to which we will ever receive answers. A dissatisfied consumer of Palermo, Italy
