Last night I watched the funeral service of Michael Jackson, an icon in the Pop Star.
Numbers of famous people, family members and friends came to say their eulogies. Many of them bring tears and some brought smiles on the faces of the audience, who absorb every single word, gesture and lyrics of the songs sang during the wake.
The good deeds Michael Jackson did while he was alive hit me hardest:
1. He gave to charity, he helped the poor, the HIV victims, the Iraq war amputees and the down and outs.
2. A great humanitarian, spreading the message of love through his songs.
3. Bring people from different parts of the world together.
4. A great father to his children, and a loving and support sibling to his brothers and sister in the Jackson 5 singing group.
I remember Michael as his signature "moon walk dance", his 360 degree turn, and his unique voice, unchanged since he started at age of 10. Truly he has run the race and came out to be a winner, deserving a trophy and a crown of glory.
He was born as a black African-American, and he lived amongst the greatest of the great, transcending amongst the Latinos, Asians, the Whites and across cultures and races, to Britain, France, Germany, and the rest of Europe, South Africa, and the rest of Africa, Australia, Japan, Korea, and the rest of South East Asia. His images and songs grew up with me in my twenties, when music and singing was in my lifestyle. Nobody can copy his moves perfectly, and his voice is like the angel's.
