Try offering incentives.

Also if you offer quality products, they will sell themselves. Offer first time customers samples. After you get your first few customers, word of mouth is a great way to get your products/services noticed.


I own and operate www.worldsportsequipment.com and have manufacturers in the United states but I am a new global/alibaba buyer and I am really nervous about purchasing online. I have been looking at a large variety of products looking for my niche. Finding legit companies has been very difficult. I am looking for a supplier who is willing to accomodate me as the buyer a bit the first round. Build trust with one another. As soon as this happens, I will become a long time buyer of that company. But most companies that I have spoken with are not willing to budge on their MOQ, Prices, Incentives, Etc. And all those companies are without my business.


If you want someone to buy from you, you must first sell them trust. If a buyer can't trust you or what you are selling he will not buy. Period.

                                     First of all I wana say the same question that how would customer assure you that he is a reliable customer.Dear business is all about trust, so try to develop trust by your conversation,quality,cost, by discussing the benefits of the customer. If he says that he is a reliable customer than also ask him to assure it practically  that, then he will not have any answer then say him that I am also reliable seller(but do check his given detailsas much as you can ) ,so the thing which is not let both us near for good business is the lack of trust. Try to develop your trust which is the base of every business. But at the same time I am not asking any one to trust some one blindly but trust logically.

In export business the customer is sitting far away. We are in contact only through by email / phone calls.
Professional attitude in communication can make them to feel that we are reliable.

Please remember that the customer is always right and to ensure your credibility, one must not deceived your customer.

Be truthful about your product and pricing and ensure that you deliver on time the right order/s.

In case of mistake or defective good/materials, please make the necessary replacements and unlike some

errand do not demand the customer to pay for replacements and shipping through no fault of theirs.

Many companies are keen to secure business but do not follow up or they often neglect their customers

when the deal is done.   Then refused to acknowledged any complaints pertaining to their delivery.  You cannot

expect your customer to trade with you again as you have shown your unreliability!
