hello, I just want to know if there is anything I can do to either get my money back or get the products I had ordered from a seller I found on alibaba.

I had found a gold seller and talked to him via e-mail for a while, after thinking he was reliable I placed a sample order of an ipod touch and a hair straightener totaling around $150.

Once I sent the money I ended up getting a pair of nike sneakers a month and a half later.

The seller will not respond to me at all and it is very obvious that I have been scammed.

I don't understand why this website would let so many sellers get away with scamming US buyers, i don't know how it's even possible to find a seller that won't scam you. It seems alibaba is just a website for scammers to lure US victims into their traps.

I would really appreciate some guidance, as I would love to actually find genuine sellers and get my money back that I've lost.
