What kind of person suitable to do foreign trade?

Before working, my teacher told me foreign trade is not an easy job. first you must get yourself 100% ready before you work as a foreign sales person, you must be able to bear much heaver pressure, you must keep your mind in a hign tense for the most time of the day, you must force yourself to be bold, you must learn to shout at others, you must speak loudly, in a word, there are too many "musts" for us to learn. I don't know whether only a "must"person can do foreign trade well, what is your ideal person suitable to do international business?

i have to say there are no any designated people who are borned to be salespeople

if you know some english, if you are willing to learn, if you are working hard, if you are putting your heart on the job, if you are keeping your faith, if you are patient enough,you can be the one, the sales

Your teacher must be a Mr.must. LOL. I am afraid that what he intend to do just to discourage you from internatinal trade. It seems that the comments did work and you were so scared, right? Jobs like international trade is not always a totally ordeal. Obviously you are not the right person if you feel that way when you take a job in foreign trade. Those ordeal is nothing, comparing the joy you have when your customer place a big order to you. You are on top of world and it is the time you reap your harvest. You totally deserve it at last. But bear this in you mind that hard working is not necessarily bring all these, a little luck sometimes play a much more important role though. So there is no one as an ideal person to do international business. It really depends.

There so many thing which shows the credibilioty of a good salesman :

1- Get prepare of Product specifications,Market  price,Target Market,Promotional techniqs.

2-Knows business communication,Net working & presentive.

3-Knows business ethics & International Rules & rugulation well.

4-Study or try to get info regarding customer history before inerecting him.

5-Use "A.I.D.A" techniqe,it means :

    A:Get his Attantion when at first sight he see your letter..( Exp 2 For 10$,Buy one get one free)

    I:Create Interest of customer to reed complete Message.

    D:A Desire should be Created in his/her Mind for the product.

    A:For Action use some promotional technoqs which motivate him to Make a deal ( Last date for deal lasting )
