We have a customer, he is almost our old friend. We work together long time, and have a good and pleasant cooperation.
This month, he order 20000pcs silicone case from us and ask us to send by Fedex which can arrive his country within 3 days.
It is not first time to do such delivery. Because he can sell a good price if goods arrived early.
Forwarder take goods on Friday, usually, this goods can arrived in Monday or Tuesday.
But on Monday, my customer tell me we made a mistake. He ask for Fedex service of 3 days, but we do 6 economic days.
We are astonished, then we check with forwarder and get that forwarder missed the plane of Saturday, and do the wrong job.
We feel very angry with this forwarder's behavior. But they do nothing, they even say they have no responsibity. everything is normal.
We feel very sorry for this customer and return the freight difference to our customer and say sorry to him, and give him big discount in his next order.
For the forwarder, he is not first time to work with us, but his attitude and behavior after accident is not acceptable. Any company will make mistake, the importance is how to resolve it. The reason we work with them is that he give us a very cheap price. Maybe it is the reason they say " it is normal".
So, sometimes, choose your supplier, only not choose low price. Choose your supplier as your partner. Price is one of the factor.
