Suggestion:

The lay-out for this forum is completely different from 99.9% of forums on the internet.

Here is a link to what most forum's lay-outs are like:
http://www.1-2-free-forums.com/mf/?mforum=paulalou
( copy & paste into a new browser window )

This way, you can see all the different "topic" areas.

And....now this is the most important, you can have an area for:
"SPAMMERS". These are the people that keep posting their buy or sell threads.
That way, for people who are NOT INTERESTED don't need to go in there and don't have to see it everytime they go to the forum.

People can just go to the areas of the forum that interest them.

But you will need to have strict guide lines and have moderators that monitor the forum and need to be very strict.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

I used to be a consultant for many different companies.
And as a consultant, always receive compensation.
Consulting is not a FREE service.

I fully agree and support ZhouErTe on this matter.
Hope alibaba take note. It will make alibaba even greater than it is already.

Hey Stone, what do you think?

Well I don't know.
It's easy enough to do a new lay-out.
And obviously they've got a web-dept.
I mean, even us has a web-dept. for goodness sakes.

Good idea..

But rather than spending time increasing the feature, it would be better for them to solve the existing compatibility problem with other browser. Even the login password are not very secure with the limited combination. [em9]

Your suggestion sounds good, but personally I don't like the layout of your recommended forum. Anyway, your suggestion has been forwarded to our relative department for further consideration.

Thanks for your support to Alibaba.com!

I think everybody's missing the point.

The "format" or "lay-out" needs to be one where there are different
"rooms".

Here's a different one:
http://odds.proboards24.com/

The point is: to have a lay-out to where there are different "rooms"
so that people who don't want to go into the " selling posts ", don't
have to.
Or " buying posts ", sellers might want to visit that.
Or " scammers ", might be of interest to everybody.

Discriptions of the different " rooms " , could look something
like the following:
  • Sell leads
  • Buy leads
  • Good Business
  • Bad business
  • Scammers
  • Have you ever dealt with?

By the way, most forums have basically the same format.
MEANING, they have different "rooms". IE: different areas
for posting different topics.
