in my opinion:
1. know more about ur customer firstly through their homepage, and internet,you should know what your customer interest, and which dept. and who are in charge of the business, so you can make a attractive subject and sent to the right person.
2. make brief introduction on common points, such greeting, your company instrocution, similar functions of you products with other suppliers, however, outsandingly introduce what the difference of your product is, and what the benefit you could make, so you could attract your custoer 's mind.
3. Do remember leave your questions or request, if the custoemr read over the mail, and they did not what you want, or what they should do next, they will feel boring, or the mail is not worthy to follow up. that means, you have much possibility that there is no reply.
