i think our domestic market is also a huge market.

We can try to explore the domestic market ,too.

I think i have to cut all my hair to overcome the global financial crisis period (just for joke)

The Global recession hits everyone, more severe to some and could even paralyse some companies who are solely depending on the exports to the big economical markets like USA and Europe. However the SOHO is not significantly affected, as the depend on their core market, and cash cows.


For a SOHO to ride out the storms of a financial crisis, it is much easier, and only have to keep low profile, spending less on must-haves, and do some domestic sales of cash on delivery types, and maybe cut down the operational costs by staff reduction and inventory.


However, the manager has also to look out for opportunities, as the crisis creates an environment for big fishes to turn belly-up, and for cash-flow strapped companies to seek merger or takeovers. The thing to watch out is the trend of the crisis, when do you see the tail of this hard time, and where do you identify the opportunities?


Some sectors may not even be affected by the crisis, and some may have Government intervention to perk up the economy. You have to be discerning and prudent, use business intelligence and do not get caught by scams.

For example, the Property Market, which is very much localised.
