Are non trademark/copyright items ok to import from China?
Post 1 of 6
My sales rep in China for electronics is telling me that they have seen a steady increase of packages being held by customs and destroyed or sent back.
Mainly, the products she said that are being sent back are trademark items such as mp3/4 players, cell phones etc.
Would the following items be ok to import from China?
1) Digital photo frames that are not branded
2) Cell phone accessories such as hard cases and leather cases
3) Battery packs for phones
Thank you so much, I want to make a new order but have been very scared to do so even with these items until I am able to find out if they will get caught up in customs.
And advice would be greatly appreciated!

Any products that are NOT branded by a trademarked brand name are perfectly O.K. to import from China.

Thanks for your responses!
I am also told that mp3/4 players are ok? Even the ones that look very similar to a certain popular brand in the USA? ::wink::
They do not have a logo on them and the box is neutral. Are these items ok?
Thanks again ladies and gents!

Replying to [Dustin Adam Jones]:Hi, If you look like George W. Bush, no one will catch you, but if you say you are American president
then
you will have some trouble
if you put some brand name on Mp3, customs have proof in hand, but if only look like, how to define...? Moreover, it is American brand, so why don't you worry for Chinese custom? you should worry more about American custom...
